Spam protection and Caller ID
Phone helps you spot suspected spam, telemarketing, or scam calls before you answer. It can identify many businesses by name, which adds context to unknown numbers. You can quickly block a number if you don't want to receive calls or texts from that person again.

Call Screen for unknown numbers
When enabled, Phone can have Assistant answer unknown callers and provide a short transcript so you can decide whether to pick up. It filters detected robocalls automatically and reduces interruptions from automated systems. Before answering the call, this gives you time to consider who is calling and why, if supported.

Visual voicemail management
Phone keeps voicemail inside the app, so you can play messages in any order and delete or save them as needed. Where available, transcriptions show voice messages as text, which helps you scan for important details without listening end to end.
